Agendia
Agendia is at the forefront of the personalized medicine revolution, striving to bring more effective, individualized therapy within reach of cancer patients.  Leveraging advancements in microarray-based technology for tumor gene expression profiling, the company's tests aim to enable physicians to more accurately tailor cancer treatment.  Agendia's MammaPrint is the first and only FDA-cleared IVDMIA gene expression assay for breast cancer recurrence. The 70 gene signature was developed on an untreated patient population using an unbiased gene selection process and provides clinicians a reliable means to identify women who are either at low risk or at high risk of distant recurrence after surgery. When used in conjunction with other clinical factors, MammaPrint can help determine if a patient may be safely treated with hormonal therapy alone, or if the addition of chemotherapy will be of benefit.  Submitting patient samples in the United States is simple and easy using the RNARetain room temperature, molecular fixative. Agendia’s CLIA certified and CAP registered laboratories are based in Huntington Beach, California, and in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.  For more information, please visit agendia.com.

In partnership with the nation's finest breast care centers, Aurora Imaging Technology, Inc. is dedicated to providing superior diagnostic imaging tools for physicians and their patients.

Bard Biopsy
Bard is the world leader in biopsy innovations.  Bard’s newest innovation, the Finesse™ Ultra Breast Biopsy System, is the only self-contained, vacuum-assisted, ultrasound-guided breast biopsy system with SIMS Technology – the ability to acquire multiple samples with a single probe insertion.   With sampling cycle time just 10 seconds, the FinesseTM Ultra Breast Biopsy System acquires large, high-quality, contiguous tissue samples rapidly from a single insertion.  Its ultra sharp cutting tip and optional piercing mode penetrates dense breast tissue and lesions accurately without displacing the lesion.  The detachable integrated coaxial cannula can remain in the breast to maintain a track to the biopsy site to accurately place a breast tissue marker.  The Finesse™ Ultra Breast Biopsy System provides compassionate control of the patient experience, confident control of sample quality, and efficient control of the biopsy procedure.

Bard’s Vacora® Breast vacuum-assisted breast biopsy system obtains large, high-quality, contiguous tissue samples under ultrasound, stereotactic x-ray and MR image guidance.  Vacora® Biopsy System probes are available in convenient 10 gauge and 14 gauge sizes with and without a fully integrated coaxial with depth stop for consistent needle positioning and accurate marker placement.

The new UltraClip® Dual Trigger Breast Tissue Marker is simple to operate and provides exceptional control.  A choice of a front trigger and an alternate rear trigger accommodate user preference, and its ergonomic design provides a comfortable non-slip grip.  The UltraClip® Dual Trigger Breast Tissue Marker is designed to be deployed through the integrated coaxial of the Finesse™ Ultra Breast Biopsy System and Vacora® Breast Biopsy System.  The markers are available in three unique shapes with permanent ultrasound enhancement.

Bard also offers localization wires, as well as core needle biopsy systems for lung, liver, breast and prostate biopsies.

Biopsy Sciences
Biopsy Sciences® is proud to introduce the HydroMARK® breast biopsy site marker developed by John Fisher MD, a breast Radiologist.  It’s the only breast marker that is made of 90% water, has less than 2mm of migration, marks the exact biopsy location, and does not contain collagen (which has known allergies).  Because it’s 90% water, it enables physicians to clearly visualize the marker under ultrasound imaging for 6 or more weeks following deployment.  Once deployed in the biopsy cavity the HydroMARK® absorbs the surrounding fluid, swells in length and diameter, and anchors in the cavity. The HydroMARK® will allow for ultrasound needle localizations.  Ultrasound needle localizations are faster, less painful, and compression free.  The HydroMARK® contains a central titanium or stainless steel metal marker for permanent visibility under mammography.  HydroMARK® has recently received the CE Mark for distribution in 27 countries of the European Union.
