Jumeirah Essex House
New York, NY
March 26-27, 2010

Conference Overview

Summary and Purpose

The Seventh International Symposium on Ovarian Cancer and Other Gynecologic Malignancies has been designed to provide participants with cutting-edge information on the treatment of these diseases. This symposium will focus on clinical and translational research in ovarian, uterine, cervical, and endometrial cancers, not only discussing standards of care and current guidelines but also highlighting the most promising novel chemotherapeutics and targeted agents currently undergoing clinical trial evaluation. Controversies in the management of ovarian, cervical, and endometrial cancers and uterine sarcoma will be debated. The symposium format will also include didactic lectures to present translational and clinical research topics, such as the use of investigational agents; case-based discussions to bring out key management issues and practice points; and panel discussions at the end of each session to provide participants with ample opportunities to learn from and interact with key opinion leaders in the field.

Target Audience

This educational program is directed toward medical, gynecologic, surgical, and radiation oncologists. Fellows, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, researchers, and other health care professionals interested in the treatment of gynecologic malignancies are also invited to attend.
