Rosen Centre Hotel
Orlando, FL
December 3, 2010

Conference Overview

Call for Cases - E-mail your challenging case to questions@cancerlearning.com. The Tumor Board sessions during this program offer an exciting opportunity for physicians to present challenging cases from their practice and to obtain feedback from the expert faculty. Personal information will remain confidential.

Overview and Purpose
The Changing Paradigms in T-Cell Lymphomas satellite symposium is designed to provide community oncologists who treat patients with T-cell lymphomas with practical, multidisciplinary approaches that can be applied immediately to their clinical practice. This program will include expert commentary outlining the essentials of T-cell lymphoma histopathology and the most current therapeutic approaches to both peripheral and cutaneous T-cell lymphomas. Tumor board sessions will provide an opportunity to reinforce best practices in diagnosis and treatment and provide an insight into how experts manage cases when clinical data are lacking. Debate and audience questions and comments will add to the interactive nature of this program.

Target Audience
This educational program is directed toward medical oncologists and hematologists interested in the treatment of patients with T-cell lymphoid malignancies. Fellows, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, researchers, and other health care professionals interested in the treatment of T-cell lymphomas are also invited to attend.

At the conclusion of this symposium, you should be able to:

  • Discuss the histopathologic features of the various PTCL and CTCL lymphoma entities
  • Evaluate current treatment options and strategies for adverse events in patients with PTCL and CTCL
  • Appraise the efficacy and safety of emerging treatment strategies for patients with CTCL and PTCL
