Physicians: Physicians’ Education Resource is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Physicians’ Education Resource designates this educational activity for a maximum of 16.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Physician Assistants: AAPA accepts category 1 credit from AOACCME, Prescribed credit from AAFP, and AMA category 1 CME credit for the PRA from organizations accredited by the ACCME.

INDUSTRY is defined by PER as any person employed by a for-profit organization, including biotech, financial, and pharmaceutical. Industry registrations cannot be processed on-line. Registration fees include continental breakfast, working lunches (Friday and Saturday), refreshment breaks and e-syllabus materials.*

Persons who register within 2 weeks of the meeting might not receive conference materials.

A cancellation fee of 25% will be assessed on refunds requested prior to September, 8, 2010, and a 50% fee on refunds requested on September 8, 2010, through September 22, 2010. No refunds will be made after September 22, 2010. There is no charge for substitution.

* Please note an important change in how syllabus materials will be made available. To provide more current slides in the syllabus and as part of the growing “green initiative,” no printed syllabus containing slide sets will be available at this event. All slides will be available electronically prior to the meeting, and registrants will receive an active link with instructions on how to access the syllabus from our Web site for downloading and/or printing. It is suggested that you attend this event with your laptop, if possible. Power will be available on-site for your laptop, although Internet access will not be provided.
