Lecture Overview

Overview and Purpose

The Chinese American Hematologist and Oncologist Network Annual Meeting: New Horizons in Oncology will bring the key data from international oncology conferences to attending physicians. The incorporation of targeted agents such as antiangiogenic agents into the treatment of patients with glioma will be highlighted followed by discussion of recent developments in novel immunotherapies and targeted agents for treating melanoma. The latest clinical data on targeted therapies for gastrointestinal malignancies will also be presented. Didactic lectures by national thought leaders will set the stage for discussion periods that will allow participants to address the faculty directly with questions and challenging cases from their practices.

Target Audience

This educational program is directed toward medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists interested in the treatment of patients with glioma, melanoma, and gastrointestinal malignancies. Fellows, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, researchers, and other health care professionals interested in the treatment of these malignancies are also invited to attend.
