Upon completion of this educational activity, you should be able to:

  • Assess genomic and proteomic tools for the estimation of recurrence risk, prediction of benefit from chemotherapy, and individualization of therapeutic decision making

  • Review novel classes of targeted biologic agents and cytotoxic therapies currently under investigation for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer
  • Assess available and investigational agents for improving bone health in patients receiving endocrine treatment for breast cancer
  • Select eligible patients for promising clinical trials
