Director, Web Marketing

The Director, Web Marketing is responsible for carrying out marketing objectives, specific to web based events/offerings. This position will oversee web based products in the maintenance of timelines, targeted marketing efforts, in conjunction with data obtained from analytics and database analysis.
This candidate will be able to utilize the effectiveness of Search Engine Optimization, make recommendations on needs and effectiveness of campaign efforts, be responsible for maintenance and coordination of all web marketing plans.
Other functions will include:
1. Manage and execute the web marketing plan for CancerLearning.com and other web initiatives, as well as their respective budgets
2. Develop and implement a communications platform to promote the company and increase the overall awareness, interest and positive perception of the our web initiatives
3. Own budget, strategy and calendar for all lead generation activities and provide regular updates on plans and ROI
4. Define and enforce standards for all advertising and collateral, including key messages, branding, and data to ensure consistency and support of the overall company image
5. Ensure attainment of company marketing and PR objectives and competitive positioning by working with your management team and the core committee in developing marketing plans and strategies for new and existing services and products. Monitor them from start to finish, measuring results and reporting back.
Experience required:
1. Ten years of web marketing experience.
2. At least five years of direct management experience.
3. Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related degree.
4. Experience with Analytic/Business Intelligence software, Pentaho preferred.
